Alumina Ceramics:

Alumina Ceramic polycarbonate (PC in English) is a high molecular weight polymer containing carbonate groups in the molecular chain. According to the structure of the ester group, it can be divided into aliphatic, aromatic, aliphatic-aromatic and other types. Among them, the lower mechanical properties of aliphatic and aliphatic-aromatic polycarbonates limit their application in engineering plastics. Only aromatic polycarbonate has been industrialized. Due to the structural particularity of polycarbonate, it has become the fastest growing general engineering plastic among the five major engineering plastics. Polycarbonate is a tough thermoplastic resin whose name comes from the CO3 group inside. Can be synthesized by bisphenol A and carbon oxychloride (COCl2). The most commonly used method is melt transesterification (bisphenol A and diphenyl carbonate are synthesized through transesterification and polycondensation). Polycarbonate (PC) is a polyester of carbonic acid, carbonic acid itself is not stable, but its derivatives (such as phosgene, urea, carbonate, carbonate) have certain stability.
According to the different alcohol structure, polycarbonate can be divided into aliphatic and aromatic.
Aliphatic polycarbonate. Such as polyethylene carbonate, polytrimethylene carbonate and their copolymers, which have low melting point and glass transition temperature, poor strength, and cannot be used as structural materials; but with their biocompatibility and biodegradability characteristics, they can It has been used in drug slow-release carriers, surgical sutures, bone support materials, etc. Polycarbonate is resistant to weak acids, weak bases, and neutral oils.
Polycarbonate is not resistant to ultraviolet light and strong alkalis. PC is a linear carbonic acid polyester. The carbonic acid groups in the molecule are alternately arranged with other groups. These groups can be aromatic, aliphatic, or both. Bisphenol A PC is the most important industrial product.
