Alumina ceramic phosgene belongs to acid chloride, which has high activity and can be directly esterified with hydroxyl compounds. The phosgene synthesis of polycarbonate mostly uses interfacial polycondensation technology. Bisphenol A and sodium hydroxide are mixed into bisphenol sodium aqueous solution as the water phase, the organic solution of phosgene (such as dichloromethane) is the other phase, and amines (such as tetrabutylammonium bromide) are used as the catalyst. Generally, phosgene is slightly excessive to make up for the loss of hydrolysis. A small amount of monofunctional phenol can be added to block the end groups and control the molecular weight. Bisphenol A for polycarbonate requires high purity and has specific specifications. It should not contain monophenols and triphenols, otherwise, high molecular weight polycarbonate cannot be obtained or crosslinking occurs. PC can be injection molding, extrusion, molding, blow molding, thermoforming, printing, bonding, coating and machining. The most important processing method is injection molding. It must be pre-dried before molding, and the moisture content should be less than 0.02%. The processing of trace moisture at high temperature will cause the product to produce white turbid color, silver wire and bubbles. PC has considerable forced high elastic deformation ability at room temperature. The impact toughness is high, so it can be cold-formed, cold-drawn, cold-rolled, etc. The molecular weight of PC for extrusion should be greater than 30,000. Gradually compressed screw should be used. The ratio of length to diameter is 1:18-24, and the compression ratio is 1:2.5.
