The Machinable Ceramic MACRE produced by our company is a polycrystalline composite material, which is a glass-ceramic with synthetic mica crystallite as the main phase. This material is also called glass-ceramic ceramic. This material is white in color and dense in structure. The amount of crystallites accounts for more than 50% of the total volume, and the crystallite particles are between 5ν and 20μ. It is a new material that emerged in the 1970s and has a range of excellent properties for a wide range of uses. Processable ceramics have high mechanical strength, excellent dielectric properties and thermal properties, and good chemical stability. The most outstanding feature of machinable ceramics is good processability. It can be used in general metal processing equipment for car, milling, planing, sawing, grinding, cutting, tapping and other processing into a variety of complex shapes, and can achieve a relatively high processing accuracy. No special tools and equipment are required.
