Machinable Glass Ceramic:
Glass-ceramic is a hard, dense and uniform multi-phase material composed of a crystalline phase and a glass phase, which is made by sintering and crystallization of glass particles of appropriate Machinable Ceramic composition. Microcrystalline glass has the dual characteristics of glass and ceramic. Microcrystalline glass has higher brightness than ceramic and is more tough than glass. It has been widely used in building curtain wall and indoor high-grade decoration. However, it is troublesome to connect as curtain wall and has low construction efficiency. Glass-ceramic is a new type of building material, its scientific name is glass ceramic. Glass-ceramics and our common glass look very different. Glass-ceramics have the dual characteristics of glass Macor Ceramics and ceramics. The atomic arrangement inside the ordinary glass is irregular, which is one of the reasons for the fragility of the glass.
