Silicon Nitride Ceramic:

S iC is a compound with strong covalent bond, and its basic constituent unit is a coordination tetrahedron (SiC4 or CSi4). According to the stacking order, there are more than 200 SiC variants found among them, which have a face-centered cubic structure. The SiC is called β-SiC (3C-SiC), and β-SiC has high stability below 2100 °C, which is the main crystal phase of SiC. Other variants are called α-SiC [1] In terms of performance, SiC is widely used in aerospace, due to its high temperature strength, high hardness, good wear resistance, good thermal shock resistance, high thermal conductivity, strong oxidation resistance and chemical resistance. In the fields of chemical industry and electronics, there is great potential for development in high-temperature structural components and new electronic components.
