Silicon Nitride Ceramic:

Special ceramics, also known as fine ceramics, can be divided into two categories: high-strength, high-temperature resistant and composite structural ceramics and electrical and electronic functional ceramics. By controlling the amount of porogen added and adjusting the particle size of the porogen, the porosity and pore size of the Si3N4 ceramic can be controlled. By adjusting the porogen content, a high porosity and a low dielectric constant can be prepared. Porous Si3N4 ceramics, low dielectric constant value is 2.4297. As the amount of porogen added increases, the porosity of the sample increases, the α-Si3N4 phase in the sample increases after nitriding, the free silicon content decreases, and the sample ε' and The tanδ decreases the particle size of the pore former. The larger the pore size of the porous Si3N4 sintered body after the reaction sintering, the lower the ε' and tanδ of the sample. There are three kinds of crystals in the silicon nitride (Si3N4). The structure is α, β and γ three phases respectively. The α and β phases are the types often appearing in Si3N4, and can be prepared under normal pressure. The γ phase can be synthesized only under high pressure and high temperature, and its hardness can be reached. 35GPa
Heat resistance, under normal pressure, Si3N4 has no melting point. Silicon nitride has wear resistance and heat resistance. It is used as a steam nozzle. It has no obvious damage after 6 months of operation at 800 °C. Other hot-resistant alloy nozzles under the same conditions only Can be used for 1-2 months.
