Alumina Ceramics:
Alumina ceramics can be used for interior and exterior aluminum veneer decoration projects in shopping malls, high-end commercial buildings, stadiums, theaters, schools, museums, etc. due to its excellent fire performance, high hardness, environmental protection, and easy cleaning. Ceramic aluminum veneers are often used as decorative materials in hospital buildings, operating rooms, food processing sites, etc., mainly using the antibacterial properties of ceramic coatings. As a new type of high-performance inorganic coating, ceramic coating has the advantages of high fireproof grade, high hardness, good durability, scratch resistance, green environmental protection, etc., which is an important direction for the development of curtain wall architectural coatings in the future. Alumina ceramics have good chemical stability. Apart from strong alkali, hydrofluoric acid and phosphoric acid, they are hardly eroded by other chemicals. Aluminosilicate fibers have excellent chemical stability in oxidizing and neutral atmospheres. The chemical stability of the reducing atmosphere, alkali metal oxides and sulfides is relatively poor, and crystallization is liable to occur, deteriorating the fiber properties. The chemical stability of aluminum silicate fiber depends mainly on its chemical composition and impurity content. The following table lists the chemical stability of three different compositions of aluminum silicate fiber. It can be seen from the table that the pure Al2O3 fiber has good chemical stability, and when SiO2 fluctuates within the range of 50% to 60%, it has little effect on chemical stability.
