Alumina ceramic

Non-contact: 1 solid K2O, Na2O, KNO3, NaNO3, KCN, NaCN, Na2O2, Ba(OH)2, LiOH, etc.;
2 aqua regia, a halogen solution or a solution capable of producing halogens;
3 compounds capable of reducing metals and these metals;
4 carbon-containing silicates, phosphorus, arsenic, sulfur and their compounds.
Nickel
Nickel has a melting point of 1455 ° C. The temperature of nickel ruthenium should not exceed 700 ° C because nickel is easily oxidized at high temperatures.
Nickel is highly resistant to alkali and corrosion, so nickel bismuth is often used in molten iron alloys, slag, clay, refractory materials, etc. Nickel bismuth is suitable for NaOH, Na2O2, NaCO3 and alkaline flux melting samples containing KNO3. It is not possible to melt samples with KHSO4, NaHSO4, K2S2O7 or Na2S2O7 and sulfur-containing alkaline sulfide flux.
Metal salts such as Al, Zn, Pb, Sn, and Hg in a molten state can make nickel bismuth brittle. Nickel bismuth cannot be used for the burning of precipitates. Borax cannot be melted in nickel crucibles.
Nickel bismuth often contains traces of chromium and should be used when using it. The new nickel crucible should be burned blue-purple in a muffle furnace to remove oil from the surface, then boiled for 1:100 (volume ratio) hydrochloric acid, then rinsed with water.
